Spa Nutrition

The issue of ecological purity of the environment is getting more and more relevant each year. The inner condition of our body directly depends on this factor.

Nutrition is one of the most important environmental factors ensuring the vital activity of any organism.

The healthiest nutrition aimed at preserving youth and energy of our life is called spa nutrition in modern language.

Spa nutrition first of all refers to balanced nutrition without deviation towards diet, which impacts our conscience, feelings, body through the sense of smell, touch, through the esthetic sense and physical wellbeing. The ingredients and recipes are selected in a way to make uniqueness of taste and balance of micronutrients an effective addition to spa programs or to be used separately as a healthy lifestyle component.

The most important in spa nutrition is comfort in meal taking. Spa nutrition provides normal harmonious organism functioning, strengthens immunity, contributes to prevention of many diseases, improves performance capability, prolongs active longevity and raises life quality.

What one eats now conditions the extent, to which they are going to be healthy and happy over the lifetime.

For people living in modern pace, when our body strongly requires the balance of macro- and micronutrients, vitamins, the objective of balanced and correct nutrition is quite difficult to achieve, that is why spa nutrition is so popular today.

When making a spa menu, the desired goal is taken into account (to lose weight, to raise efficiency, to improve life quality, to normalize joint work, etc.) The motto: “Quality is better than quantity” referring to most positive emotions is quite applicable in this context.

Spa nutrition is:

  • an effect of integrated sensory perception;
  • forming the wellbeing and nutrition culture;
  • micronutrients and calories balance;
  • “healthy” ways of cooking;
  • moderate portions: “We eat for living and not live for eating”;
  • natural ingredients without synthetic taste intensifiers¸ coloring agents, preservatives and thickening agents, concentrates and so on, products grown in environmentally pure regions, not genetically modified; products the collection and keeping of which allows preserving their nutritive value.

Micronutrients (vitamins, macro- and micronutrients) are indispensable nutrition components for human beings, because they are necessary for many biochemical reactions to take place in the body. Micronutrients are chemically and physically active substances that can interact with other substances, with each other. These interactions may lead to increased or reduced effect from taking vitamin and mineral complexes. Thus, compatibility of micronutrients has to be taken into consideration in vitamin preventive measures. Besides, these facts have to be taken into account when developing and producing complex products.

Micro nutrition is the area of general health medicine studying pharmacological properties of food, physiological influence of food on the body, fixing the need in micronutrients, creating biologically active food supplements, studying preventive and therapeutic action of these supplements in different diseases.

Micro nutrition has shaped at the junction of dietetics and pharmacology. Its relevance relates to the wide spread of complications at taking medicaments and impossibility to use those for disease prevention, as well as to the suspended development of classical dietetics because of rapid development of pharmacology.
